At a walk through Kasarmitori Square, the Market Square and the Senate Square you will hear about the history of Helsinki and the identity of the city squares.

 

Finnish Academy
of Fine Arts

At the walk through new venues of Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, you will discover the history of the 160-year old Academy of Fine Arts and see how an old factory building have been converted into art school.

 


 

Old harbour storage “Bunkkeri”

The 40 000 square meters large harbour storage “Bunkkeri” is the largest building in Jätkäsaari. At the moment, the building is empty, but in the future it will be place for sports and youth culture. “Bunkkeri” is over 30 meters high and at the roof terrace of building you will have an amazing view over the city of Helsinki.

Through a series of award-winning design projects and buildings, Bjarke Ingels has created an international reputation as a member of a new generation of architects that combine shrewd analysis, playful experimentation, social responsibility and humour.

The lecture is a part of Helsinki Design Week, Designpartners Architecture Day -program: entrance 5 €, students for free!

We organize guided tours into interesting buildings, interiors, landmarks and old and more recent architectural destinations.
